Have you ever thought about swimming alongside ocean giants? We make it a reality! Join our journey through the Mexican Caribbean with the incredible whale sharks, the world's largest fish. From late May to September 17th, it's an all-inclusive adventure that's safe and exciting.
Our whale shark tours from Isla Mujeres include a scenic 33 feet boat ride to the snorkeling location, all snorkel gear, a light breakfast, and food and beverages on board.
Simply select the date that suits you best, provide the name of your hotel or address where you'll be staying, and book online to explore the fascinating underwater world of whale sharks.
These whale sharks, up to 12 meters in length, are a true wonder. They're giants with grace, and you'll be amazed by their peaceful presence.
This activity does not represent any danger.
Check in will be at 8 am in the Marina Pepe y Olga in Isla Mujeres, where you get a light breakfast and we answer any questions you may have. After breakfast, around 8:40 am, we'll get on the boat for the adventure to begin and head out to the east of the Caribbean Sea, behind Isla Mujeres to start the activity and swim with whale sharks.
A boat ride of approximately 50 minutes will take you to the feeding area, where you'll spend between 2.5 and 3 hours searching for and swimming with the whale sharks. Following regulations, you'll perform jumps in pairs, always accompanied by a certified guide.
On average, each pair will complete between 2 and 3 jumps with the whale sharks. However, this can vary depending on sea conditions and the number of whale sharks present in the area.
And the surprises don't stop there! If luck is on your side, you might even encounter dolphins along the way or swim with enormous mantas!
After the whale shark adventure, we'll make a quick stop to make a reef snorkeling and then it's time to refuel. Enjoy shrimp or fish ceviche, along with fresh fruits, all against the stunning backdrop of Playa Norte at Isla Mujeres, one of the world's most beautiful beaches.
You will return to isla Mujeres dock around 2:30 p.m.

Consequently, our expeditions can lead to varying outcomes. You may have the good fortune of encountering numerous whale sharks, come across only a few, or, in rare instances (about 5% of the time), not spot any at all. Nonetheless, every expedition with us promises exciting possibilities!
In the event that you don't have the chance to see any whale sharks during your excursion, we provide you with a "Whale Shark Sighting Warranty." This means you have the option to reschedule your tour or receive a certificate that allows you to take the tour again. The certificate has no expiration date.

- Bring towel and hat
- The use of a life jacket is no longer mandatory when wearing a wetsuit! Passengers can bring their own wetsuit or rent one upon arrival at the marina for a cost of USD 15 per person.
- Some travelers might experience seasickness on our Cancun whale shark tours due to the small boats and choppy waters. We provide complimentary motion sickness tablets like Dramamine at the marina.

- If you do not cancel before 24 hours or do not show up on the day of the activity, 100% of the reservation will be charged.
