Itinerary
12:30 PM
Your experience begins with hotel pick-up in Tulum between 12:30 and 1:30 pm. Once inside the reserve, you will start with a visit to the Muyil archaeological ruins, surrounded by jungle, where you’ll learn about the history of this ancient Mayan city. Afterwards, you will walk through natural jungle trails leading to the lagoon. From there, you will board a boat to navigate through the lagoons and mangroves of Sian Ka’an, enjoying stunning natural scenery. The highlight of the tour is floating through the ancestral Mayan canal, also known as the lazy river, where you will gently drift with the current in a peaceful natural setting. After the activity, you will return to Tulum to enjoy a Mexican taco tasting around 5:30 pm. Finally, drop-off at your hotel will take place between 6:30 and 7:00 pm.

Cancellation Policy
- In case weather conditions do not allow the activity to take place, it will be rescheduled for another day, or a 100% refund will be provided.
- Your reservation includes free cancellation up to 24 hrs before the pick-up time.
- If canceled between 24 hrs and 12 hrs before the pick-up time, 50% of the total reservation amount will be charged.
- If not canceled before 12 hrs or if you do not show up on the day of the activity, 100% of the reservation amount will be charged.
Swimming with the whale sharks was worth every penny! No sunscreen so wear a swim shirt or rent a wetsuit. Our Captain Solomon was fabulous and our guide Nano was fun, energetic and did everything he could to make this a magical experience for everyone on board. We were the first pick up and last drop off which meant for a super long day but highly recommend!!

We took the whale shark watching tour; we had a fantastic day with tons of sharks. Truly a dream. I would recommend it a thousand times over.

This was an amazing excursion. The Captain knew right where to drop you in so you can swim along the whale shark. If you hesitate, you ok be behind. The captain’s mate did a wonderful job of orienting you once you jumped in the water and he took amazing photos and video. I definitely recommend Gluup for this trip.
