Description
Become a certified PADI Open Water diver to explore the underwater world at your own pace.
The Open Water course will change your life forever. You will learn all the secrets of scuba diving in order to become an internationally certified diver.
You will start from the basics to acquire the most important skills to be able to perform the diving activity safely.
This course consists of:
- Theoretical part (PADI E-learning included)
- Practical sessions in the pool
- 6 dives in the ocean reefs (4 in Playa del Carmen and 2 in Cozumel) with a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet) to acquire the necessary skills to practice the activity of recreational diving in a safe way.
The PADI Open Water course of Playa del Carmen + Cozumel lasts 3 days.
Obtaining the PADI Open Water certification enables you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters / 60 feet.
This is just the beginning! Soon, as a certified diver, you will discover fabulous diving destinations around the world, interesting people and unbeatable experiences.

Recommendations
- We recommend considering 3-4 days to complete the course in case the weather conditions do not allow diving during any of the days or if the student needs any additional immersion or class to finish their instruction.

Requirements
- Do not take a flight in the next 18 hrs after your last dive
- Older than 10 years
- It is not possible to scuba dive in people who have asthma, hypertension, diabetes, heart or respiratory tract problems (ears, nose, lungs)
Cancellation policies
- If cancellations are made 24 hours in advance clients are refunded 100%.
- If cancellations are made less than 24 hours in advance clients will not receive a refund.
