Become a certified PADI Open Water diver in just 2 days to explore the underwater world at your own pace. No previous experience is required and it is for people over 10 years of age.
The Open Water course will change your life forever. You will learn all the secrets of scuba diving in order to become an internationally certified diver.
You will start from the basics to acquire the most important skills to be able to perform the diving activity safely.
This course consists of a theoretical part (PADI eLearning), 2 practical sessions in the pool and 4 dives in the ocean: maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet) to acquire the necessary skills to practice the activity of recreational diving in a safe way.
Obtaining the PADI Open Water certification enables you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters / 60 feet.
Once your reservation is confirmed, we will share your PADI username and password with you via email so that you can complete the online theoretical course (PADI eLearning).
The PADI Open Water Diver course lasts 2 days.
At the end of the course, your instructor will process your PADI Open Water Diver certifications.

Itinerary
Day 1
Start your adventure with exercises 1 to 3 in the pool in the morning. Then, dive into the reefs for your first two dives.
Day 2
Continue your training with exercises 4 and 5 in the pool. Then, enjoy your final two dives at the Playa del Carmen reefs.

Requirements
- Do not take a flight in the next 18 hrs after your last dive
- Older than 10 years
- It is not possible to scuba dive in people who have asthma, hypertension, diabetes, heart or respiratory tract problems (ears, nose, lungs)
Cancellation Policy
- If cancellations are made 24 hours in advance clients are refunded 100%.
- If cancellations are made less than 24 hours in advance clients will not receive a refund.

It was a magical and unforgettable experience. We saw the majestic whale shark; the guide even held our hands to help us stay calm and led us to where we could see it best! We felt incredibly safe with the captain and the guide, who were always very attentive and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to eat and drink. The ceviche and guacamole were delicious. I highly recommend taking this tour with this company; you won't regret it!
