If you want to try diving for the first time, have an unforgettable experience discovering the depths of the Mexican Caribbean without being a certified diver.
A simple lesson in the pool and you will soon enjoy the wonders of the sea with 2 reef dives in Playa del Carmen!
No previous experience is required and it is for people over 10 years of age.
The "Discovery Scuba Diving" program is very popular around the world with more than 6 million people doing it every year to discover the wonders of the underwater world and it brings you even closer to the international PADI Open Water license.
In this course, you will:
- Review the diving equipment that you will use to dive and how easy it is to move underwater with your equipment.
- Pool class to find out what it feels like to breathe underwater and learn key skills that you will use on each dive.
- After the class, you will do two dives in two different and beautiful coral reefs where you can find different tropical fish, lion fish, moray ells, turtles, rays and mucho more at a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet).
Exploring the reefs of Playa del Carmen to practice scuba diving gives us the opportunity to explore the second largest barrier reef in the world, only behind the one found in Australia.
The groups are of maximum 4 people and an Instructor.
If at the end of this experience you discover that you want to get certified, your "Discovery Scuba Diving" will be credited to your Open Water course.

Itinerary
8:30 AM
Pick-ups start in the lobby of your hotel or Airbnb in the downtown and hotel zone of Playa del Carmen in an air-conditioned van.
9:00 AM
Check-in at the dive shop, equipment testing, and pool classes with your instructor to find out what it feels like to breathe underwater and learn key skills that you will use in your dives to enjoy the activity to the fullest.
11:00 AM
After the class, you will do two dives on two different and beautiful coral reefs where you can find various tropical fish, lionfish, moray eels, turtles, rays, and much more at a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet).
2:00 PM
Return by van from the dive shop to your hotel or Airbnb.

Requirements
- Minimum age 10 years
- Do not take a flight in the next 12 hours after the last dive
- It is not possible to scuba dive in people who have asthma, hypertension, diabetes, heart or respiratory tract problems (ears, nose, lungs)
Cancellation Policy
- If cancellations are made 24 hours in advance clients are refunded 100%.
- If cancellations are made less than 24 hours in advance clients will not receive a refund.

Diving instructions and the location itself in Cozumel were amazing. We've spent an hour discussing our dive on shore and once we gotten underwater and passed safety checks, there was a pure enjoyment of dive for next ~hour or so.
