Diving at La Reina or El Bajo–La Paz

La Paz

From USD 254/person

Description

Diving in La Paz means immersing yourself in one of the most vibrant marine ecosystems in the Sea of Cortez. This tour takes you to one iconic site per outing, either La Reina or El Bajo, carefully selected based on sea conditions and group profile. Each day is designed to offer a safe, authentic, and deeply immersive ocean experience for divers seeking more than a standard dive. This is where the adventure truly begins.

La Reina is a site full of motion, color, and life. Its rocky formations attract large schools of tropical fish, giant manta rays, turtles, and jacks that surround divers in a constant underwater ballet. This is a smooth, scenic dive ideal for divers with solid experience who want to enjoy the ocean with control and wonder. A dive that captivates through beauty and flow.

El Bajo is a deep and powerful seamount where the blue takes center stage. Diving here is technical, demanding, and thrilling, reserved for highly experienced divers. Depth and currents create the perfect setting for large schools of fish and, occasionally, hammerhead sharks —not guaranteed—. An intense experience for those ready to push their limits.

We really enjoy this fantastic trip! Everyone was so nice and patient, and we saw the whale shark! So lovely and beautiful. If we had the chance must come to here again with Gluup! Thank you so much!

It was a magical and unforgettable experience. We saw the majestic whale shark; the guide even held our hands to help us stay calm and led us to where we could see it best! We felt incredibly safe with the captain and the guide, who were always very attentive and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to eat and drink. The ceviche and guacamole were delicious. I highly recommend taking this tour with this company; you won't regret it!
