La Paz

Description

Balandra is more than just a beach—it’s a natural sanctuary of turquoise waters, golden dunes, and timeless rock formations. Exploring it early in the day means stepping into a landscape that evokes peace and wonder, where the stillness of the desert blends seamlessly with the rhythm of the sea. Each turn reveals a new perspective of its untouched beauty, preserved as a UNESCO-protected natural reserve.

During this guided experience, you’ll enjoy an active and educational journey led by a marine biologist, who will share fascinating insights into the area’s geology and wildlife. The day includes a moderate hike through scenic hills, a kayak ride across calm waters, and a snorkeling session above vibrant reefs — all within a safe, well-organized, and nature-focused environment.

What makes this adventure truly special is its harmony between exploration, learning, and serenity. Balandra and Tecolote boast some of the most photogenic coastal views in the Sea of Cortez, home to colorful fish, seabirds, and desert-meets-sea landscapes that define Baja California Sur. A perfect experience for those seeking authenticity and natural connection.

Incredible experience... I was hoping to swim with mobula rays, which didn't happen, but I had other amazing experiences like seeing sperm whales and swimming with sharks, which I wasn't expecting! I dared to go in with my son because Mateo, our guide, made us feel very safe... We'll definitely have to come back next year to look for them! Excellent experience 😍🤩
