Cabo Pulmo

From USD 1441/person

Description

Get ready to dive into one of the most vibrant reef systems on the planet. Cabo Pulmo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is renowned for its biodiversity and its model of marine conservation. This 5-day expedition takes you to the heart of the National Park with 3 full days of guided diving, local cabin accommodation, and full support from the Gluup team.

The expedition begins and ends at the same location: either La Paz or Cabo San Lucas, depending on the group’s agreed meeting point. We’ll pick you up and travel together to Cabo Pulmo to start the adventure. After a welcome dinner and briefing, we prepare for three immersive diving days. Each morning, the dive sites will be selected on-site by the dive master and group, in coordination with the Park’s control tower. Site access depends on daily availability and park regulations, which means flexibility is key.

We end the expedition with free time in La Paz or Los Cabos, depending on your departure airport, and enjoy a final group dinner. If you’re seeking to explore one of Mexico’s most iconic marine ecosystems, this journey is for you.

Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome and Transfer to Cabo Pulmo

We’ll greet you at the airport or hotel in La Paz or Cabo San Lucas, depending on the group’s chosen meeting point. From that moment, our team will accompany you to ensure a smooth start to the expedition. Together, we’ll travel to Cabo Pulmo, a coastal village within the National Marine Park. After settling into your cabin, you’ll have time to meet your fellow travelers. In the evening, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner and expedition briefing with your Gluup coordinator.

Days 2, 3, and 4: Diving in Cabo Pulmo National Park

Each morning, after a light breakfast on board, we’ll head out for diving. Over the course of these three days, we’ll complete up to 8 dives. Dive sites are selected daily with the park’s control tower and your guides, based on availability and sea conditions. As a protected reserve, Cabo Pulmo enforces conservation protocols that make every day unpredictable—but always special. In the afternoons, you’ll return to your cabin to rest, connect with the group, or explore the village.

Day 4 Afternoon: Return to Starting City and Free Evening

After our final dives and lunch, we return together to the original city of departure (La Paz or Los Cabos). Once settled into the hotel, you’ll enjoy a free evening to relax, dine, or celebrate the last night with your group.

Day 5: Farewell and Airport Transfer

After breakfast, we’ll ensure your timely transfer to the airport or next hotel. The expedition ends, but you’ll leave with unforgettable memories of an immersive, responsible, and professionally guided diving experience.

Very responsive on what’sapp and gave clear information on the tour and how to get there. The place is very pretty! The tour guide and the boat captain were friendly. We had 4 stops in our snorkel tour as planned. Visibility was not great , but it was still amazing. I hope to go back for scuba diving one day. I also liked that they keep things real: (1) do not try to sell things that may not happen (due to nature), (2) they do not put additional fees - what they tell you is what you pay (very different than other tours I have seen around Los Cabos) One point to highlight is that the boat is small, so if the ocean is rough it may not be the best for people that get sea sickness.
