Fun Facts About Whale Sharks:

- They can grow up to 12 meters (40 feet) long—bigger than a bus!
- Despite their massive size, they feed on tiny creatures like plankton and small fish through filter feeding.
- Known as the "gentle giants of the ocean," they are completely harmless to humans.
- Each whale shark has a unique pattern of spots, much like a fingerprint!

Our adventure continues with a visit to San Rafaelito, a small island featuring a vibrant coral reef and a colony of sea lions. This protected natural area is perfect for observing marine life, from sardines to snappers, surrounded by crystal-clear waters and stunning landscapes.

Next, we’ll explore the idyllic Espíritu Santo Island, where you’ll discover pristine white sand beaches and turquoise waters. Relax, snorkel, walk along the island’s fine shores, and enjoy a delicious included lunch on a private beach. Experience the unparalleled beauty of the Sea of Cortez!

Diving instructions and the location itself in Cozumel were amazing. We've spent an hour discussing our dive on shore and once we gotten underwater and passed safety checks, there was a pure enjoyment of dive for next ~hour or so. Daniel Lomonaco, if you're reading this, just know that you're so much better than an average instructor.

Very attentive and excellent instructors. I was able to leave my dog in their care while we went on the boat.
