Description

Baja California Sur is one of the few privileged places in the world to receive the largest fish in the ocean every year... The whale shark!

Enjoy living this experience in the Bay of La Paz where whale sharks feed on plankton and allow us to swim with them and observe their natural habitat up close from November 15 to April 30.

This wonderful animal can reach a length of 12 meters and the average is around 8 meters. It is an animal revered in many cultures of the Asian coasts due to its incomparable beauty and gentleness despite its enormous size.

This activity does not represent any danger to humans.

It is important to book in advance in order to guarantee getting a slot and entering the Whale Shark Sanctuary, as there is currently a very established code of conduct in place whereby only a limited number of boats can be in the area for a two hour period, and the authorities have access to the real-time position of each of these boats.

Guides and captains have to take a course and get certified every year.

The boat expedition will begin to the sanctuary of these beautiful animals to locate them and be able to swim with them, it can take from 15 to 45 minutes to find a whale shark.

In groups of maximum 5 people per shark accompanied by a certified guide at all times, you will enter the water to enjoy this incredible species.

Diving instructions and the location itself in Cozumel were amazing. We've spent an hour discussing our dive on shore and once we gotten underwater and passed safety checks, there was a pure enjoyment of dive for next ~hour or so. Daniel Lomonaco, if you're reading this, just know that you're so much better than an average instructor.

Very attentive and excellent instructors. I was able to leave my dog in their care while we went on the boat.
