Description

Imagine diving into one of the planet’s most awe-inspiring marine sanctuaries. In the Revillagigedo Islands, you’ll feel the vastness of the ocean as never before—a wild, vibrant world floating 250 miles off the Mexican coast. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this archipelago is every diver’s dream: hammerhead sharks, giant mantas, playful dolphins, dense fish schools, and thrilling chances to spot tiger sharks or humpback whales.

Over 10 days aboard Quino del Mar, you’ll head deep into the Pacific for 6 full days of diving in volcanic seamounts, dramatic walls, and open waters where marine life flourishes with raw beauty. This is not just a tour—it’s a true expedition, with expert logistics, onboard camaraderie, and access to a destination reachable only by liveaboard.

Available November through May, with seasonal encounters such as humpback whales (February to April) or whale sharks (November, December, and May), this journey is ideal for experienced divers seeking the most epic side of the Mexican Pacific.

The Vessel

Quino del Mar is a brand-new liveaboard launching its first expedition in July 2025. Measuring 118 feet in length with a 26.5-foot beam, it’s designed for stability, functionality, and comfort on long-range dive expeditions like Revillagigedo. Built-in stabilizers and a smart interior layout ensure smooth sailing and a relaxed onboard experience.

She accommodates up to 20 divers in 10 private staterooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. The lower deck features two extra-large cabins with queen beds. On the upper deck, six staterooms have XL twin beds arranged perpendicularly for space efficiency, while two larger cabins offer twin beds that convert into a king.

The main deck hosts a spacious salon, dining area, two shared restrooms, freshwater showers, and a large dive deck with a fully equipped camera table. Up top, a shaded sun deck with loungers offers the perfect spot to relax between dives.

Designed from the ground up with divers in mind, this new vessel delivers organized logistics, personalized dive stations, panga support, and warm service. Perfect for divers who value a focused, high-quality experience at sea.

Very responsive on what’sapp and gave clear information on the tour and how to get there. The place is very pretty! The tour guide and the boat captain were friendly. We had 4 stops in our snorkel tour as planned. Visibility was not great , but it was still amazing. I hope to go back for scuba diving one day. I also liked that they keep things real: (1) do not try to sell things that may not happen (due to nature), (2) they do not put additional fees - what they tell you is what you pay (very different than other tours I have seen around Los Cabos) One point to highlight is that the boat is small, so if the ocean is rough it may not be the best for people that get sea sickness.
